Hello all, I've been lurking for quite a while looking for scraps of information on Flower but I've finally signed up to share this little nugget.

uk.playstation.com entry for flOw PSP

Quote:
Publisher: SCEE
Genre: Simulation
Format: PSP
Release date: January 2008
Players: 1
Ad Hoc Mode: 2-4 Players
Infrastructure Mode: none
Media type: Download

Quote:
Your evolutionary path will ultimately reflect your style of play. Download flOw from PLAYSTATION Store (PC) and discover the unique wonder of an uncharted aquatic world.

A bit too much PSP-specific info for it to be the PS3 version duplicated in error I think but the screenshots used are from the PS3 version.

Dude that's amazing! I want flOw on my PSP so bad. I also want TGC to add another update to flOw for PS3 so that we call all enjoy flOw via remote play on our PSP's!

Great find Shin-Ra! (Welcome to the forums to Shin-Ra and lakaihigh too!)

And lakaihigh, if this is correct, the Remote Play ability probably wouldn't be added, because Sony would want the PSP version to sell, because if people could play the PS3 version on their PSP, not many would buy the PSP version.

I'm don't know the exact numbers of people with PS3's that also own PSP's but you're probably right. the numbers are there and if they did release a remote play feature then it would effect sales directly. But it would be nice if Sony bent a lil and actually praised us for buying their game and releasing its full potential instead of dwindling our money. In any case if they do release a remote play feature I would be all over that like white on rice. But if they didn't and they release a stand alone game for the PSP that could somehow interact with your PS3 version then I'll be picking that up day one. Now if they only release a PSP version that has no 'major' adjustments, or anything significantly different from the counterpart version then I'll be a little hesitant before picking it up. They'll also have to release it at a substantially low price before they get my money twice for the same game. LOL.

Just my 2 cents anyway.

Peace,
Lh

flOw PSP would be just amazing. I hope it's true (and if it is, we'll see it tomorrow according to that link!)

On ESRB.org the game's listed for 'PSP, PlayStation 3' and on PEGI.info a seperate Sony PSP version is listed as 'flOw (downloadable from PSP Store)' which pretty much seals it!

WOOT!

But flOw PSP is now listed for February...
At least we can actually get it some time soon (hopefully).

I'm wondering if the Europeans will get it before those of us in the U.S. do, and if the PSN Cards are coming out before then, so I can get it, but it probably won't work on U.S. PSPs anyways...
