Do we know if they will share the same trophy lists, or will they be seperate? Be good to know too, if you do happen to know that is :)

fayriel, where did you pre-order your copy of the CE?

you live in Europe too don't you?
ce
amish, why do they say that it isn't wise for us Europeans to buy a N-A copy of the CE?
and what about the one one play-asia.com?

i am not familiar with the differences between these versions, can you or someone else tell me what they are?

btw, does anyone know when play-asia will be pre-selling the CE?

kind regards,

I think Amish is discouraging European Journeyers from buying the North American or Asian Journey CE because of the additional costs involved.

I suspect Amish knows something that he's not at liberty to talk about right now. Most likely an impending announcement from Sony that there will indeed be a European release of the Journey CE.

Amish, if this is correct, chirp 3 times followed by a face-plant.

They's share the same save data and trophy list.
The games will be exactly the same as their downloaded counterparts.

I'm not sure how much Play-Asia will sell the Asian copy for, but I guess they'd have a decent price.

As Klowny said, if I knew anything about an impending announcement of a European release for the Journey CE, I wouldn't be able to talk about it. I can say that there are a ton of different reasons why a release hasn't been announced yet, and there's all sorts of things like regulations, retailers, manufacturing, translations, etc. that has to be done. Retailers are a huge part of every game release. If they don't want to carry a game, it basically won't sell or will take a huge hit in sales.

So I know the cover artwork we've seen for the collection "isn't final," but can we expect it to be relatively similar to the placeholder? I love the look of it now, but Sony's new collection packaging looks really, really cool:

Sony said that this packaging will go into effect August 28th, which just happens to be the same date the Journey Collector's Edition is hitting store shelves... I just love the gold banner and stamp. :D

hey, look.. another month of ps+ i can let lapse. definitely excited about the minigames!

hopefully pre-ordering the physical copy comes with a more prompt delivery than pre-ordering journey on psn. i left the house at 4pm the day of "release" and still wasn't able to download it. i didn't see my playstation for a week or two after and was disappoint. it left me with the notion that pre-ordering psn games was not worth the excitement / frustration rollercoaster.

I'm picking mine up directly from the physical GameStop store, which are ubiquitous 'round these parts.

Don't know if they're as conveniently located for you up there in the High Desert.

i ordered from a physical gamestop also, which is why i have hopes of actually receiving it on the day i'm supposed to. if i had to pre-order from sony, i would not have such high hopes (i would not have pre-ordered)... it's not like the game wasn't ready.. ps+ subscribers had been playing for 2 weeks at that point. sony doesn't seem to care much about being prompt...

on this note, i hope to be able to purchase journey merch from TGC by the year 2050. i'll be 71 years old, suffering from dementia, trying to dive-boost off a cliff with my sparkly new journey scarf.

can the 2050 scarves come with a jetpack? that would be pretty awesome.

Less than one week and Nurth and Surth Murrkinz get it! HUZZAH!

Things are still being worked out for Europe and Japan (this doesn't mean that they will come to those territories, though). As soon as we find out anything, we'll make sure to let you all know!

Im suprised nobody has commented on this before. seems like what could be the best part of the CE to me.

We had a lot of people wishing for it, but they settled down when we announced it.

It's pretty awesome, by the way! :D (I was there for all three of them.)
